Each of these speakers will bring a message about the important work of these key agencies and organizations that serve our local Jewish community. We invite you to join us for each of these Friday evening services at 6 p.m., preceded by an informal “nosh” and chance to socialize with our community. Our speakers will offer their inspiring message in place of a sermon during the service. Please plan to join us and welcome these community leaders to Shaare Emeth!\nDanny Cohn • Friday, July 18\nDanny Cohn began as the Chief Executive Officer at Jewish Federation of St. Louis in March 2025. Danny’s impressive career spans global marketing for renowned brands like Starbucks, Burger King, and Allstate Insurance, as well as community engagement initiatives at the Arbor Day Foundation and the Jewish Federation of Omaha. His career pivot in 2020 to serve Jewish communities stems from a profound desire to align his work with his values, spurred by the birth of his daughter. Danny was formerly the CEO at the Birmingham Jewish Federation and Foundation. In his new role, Cohn will oversee Federation’s efforts to strengthen Jewish life in St. Louis, combat antisemitism, and support partner organizations that provide essential services and cultural programs. He is joined in St. Louis by his husband, their daughter, and their beloved Wheaton Terrier.\n
