Kever Avot v’Imahot Memorial Service of Remembrance
New Mount Sinai Cemetery, Congregation Shaare Emeth and Temple Israel’s joint cemetery, will present a Kever Avot v’Imahot service – A Memorial Service Honoring Those Who Came Before Us – in the cemetery’s Community Mausoleum.
This service of remembrance is meditative and prayerful, providing comfort and solace for all. Led by clergy of the member congregations and musicians from the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra and others, the service is both reflective and comforting. It is a beautiful way to transition from Rosh Hashanah to Yom Kippur and remember whose shoulders on which we stand.
