Tu B'Shevat at Shaare Emeth
Happy Tu B’Shevat!
Tu B’Shevat begins at sundown on Wednesday, February 12 and continues through sundown on Thursday, February 13, 2025. Tu B’Shevat is celebrated on the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Shevat and is often referred to as the “New Year for Trees.” Though a minor Jewish holiday, it is marked every year at Shaare Emeth as an ecological awareness day, reminding us of our duty to engage year-round in Tikkun Olam, repair of the world, and Shomrei Adamah, protecting our environment.
