Shabbat Shuvah falls between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Shuvah comes from the Hebrew word “Teshuvah,” which is often translated as repentance but literally means “return.” Thus, Shabbat Shuvah is the Sabbath of Return. Our service is focused and meditative, highlighting themes of repentance and forgiveness.
